Rich At Heart provides a safe, hands-on, interactive, and inclusive environment where every participant is seen, supported, and given room to grow.
We believe growth happens through doing, not just watching. That is why our programs are interactive and community-based, built around real skills, real relationships, and real independence.
From daily living skills to job readiness, sports to social outings, every activity is designed to help participants prepare for adulthood while giving families and community members meaningful ways to support inclusion.

Rich At Heart has been recognized locally for creating inclusive opportunities through sports, educational activities, field trips, and community events.
Roosevelt Bolden is a dedicated educator, counselor, coach, and community leader from Ventura County. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's degree in Educational Counseling, bringing more than 15 years of experience working with youth, students with disabilities, and their families.
Roosevelt has worked as a Para Educator at Camarillo High School, a Youth Counselor and Program Director, and a college counseling intern, supporting students with educational planning, personal development, and transition opportunities. He has also served as a Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach, using sports to teach leadership, teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
In 2019, Roosevelt founded Rich At Heart, a nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for teenagers, young adults, and individuals with disabilities. Through community events, sports, summer programs, and social activities, he works to create a community where everyone feels valued, included, and empowered.
Roosevelt's passion is simple: helping people reach their potential, creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities, and giving back to the Ventura County community he calls home.
